This first visit is designed to educate, empower, and restore—so you can decide if Vitality Cove is the right long-term partner for your health journey.

  • At Vitality Cove, we do not accept insurance. Our approach to healthcare is personalized, comprehensive, and patient-centered—which is often limited by insurance-based models.

Insurance companies dictate how much time a provider can spend with you, which labs can be ordered, and what is considered a “normal” result. Unfortunately, this one-size-fits-all approach does not account for individual symptoms, optimal health ranges, or advanced testing that can provide deeper insight into your well-being.

However, you may be able to use your insurance for standard blood work or medications, depending on your plan. We do not bill or communicate with insurance companies directly, but we can provide the necessary documentation for you to submit a claim if applicable.

At Vitality Cove, we believe in healthcare without limitations—where we focus on root causes, optimization, and long-term wellness rather than just treating symptoms within insurance constraints.

  • If your labs meet medical guideline criteria, we can prescribe appropriate medications or hormone therapy.

  • How Lab Draws Will Work

At Vitality Cove, you can use your health insurance for blood work; however, we are not responsible for lab pricing, and it is your responsibility to verify whether your insurance covers the labs.

    • Generally, labs related to hormone optimization and most longevity testing are included under standard coverage. Specialty tests, such as Apo E testing and advanced cardiovascular or cancer screening panels, are often not covered by insurance.

    • We provide transparent pricing from Access Labs to ensure clarity and convenience. Our custom panels are designed to suit your individual health needs, and all lab draws are performed in our clinic at no additional charge.

  • Your journey with us begins with Optimantra, our secure patient portal. You’ll receive a welcome email with your login details and instructions. Through this portal, you’ll complete your comprehensive health questionnaires before your first appointment.

Step 1: Understanding Your Whole Health Story

Your first visit is about more than what brought you in today — it’s about your entire health journey.

    We’ll explore your:

    • Eating habits and nutrient intake

    • Sleep quality and recovery

    • Exercise and movement patterns

    • Stress levels, mood, digestion, and lifestyle factors

Step 2: Advanced Laboratory & Functional Testing

We use expanded lab panels that go far beyond standard testing to see how your body is functioning as a whole. These labs will be drawn prior to your first appointment. This may include:

    • Full hormone panels (including metabolites if needed)

    • Complete thyroid analysis

    • Nutrient & mineral status

    • Gut health and detox pathway assessments

    • Learn more about labs

    Step 3: Personalized Care Plan

We combine your history, lab results, and lifestyle to create a custom wellness plan that addresses root causes and supports long-term vitality. Our goal is to help you feel energized, balanced, and in control of your health.

  • Not at all.

After your initial in-depth appointment, you may choose one of two convenient follow-up options:

    • Appointment-based care: Schedule follow-up visits as needed. If any hormones are prescribed, follow-up visits are scheduled every 3 months to monitor progress, adjust dosing, and review lab results.

    • Monthly membership:

Your clinician will recommend the best follow-up schedule based on your treatment plan and health goals. If you’d like help comparing options or signing up for the membership, our team can assist you.

  • But I don't feel normal.

At Vitality Cove, we take an optimized approach to health, rather than just looking at whether your lab results fall within a “normal” range. Traditional lab tests often use broad reference ranges based on the average population, which may not reflect what is truly optimal for your health and well-being.

We Focus on Optimal, Not Just Normal – A lab result in the “normal” range doesn’t always mean it’s ideal for you. For example, a normal thyroid panel may include only TSH and T4, but optimal thyroid function also depends on Free T3, Reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies—which are rarely tested.

Comprehensive Lab Testing – We go beyond the basics and check total vs. free hormone levels, ensuring that what is circulating in your body is actually available for use.

Advanced Testing – We offer DUTCH urine testing, which evaluates hormone pathways and metabolites—giving deeper insight into how your body produces, metabolizes, and eliminates hormones. Even if your blood levels are normal, your metabolites might not be, affecting how you feel.

Personalized Interpretation – We don’t just read numbers; we correlate lab results with your symptoms, lifestyle, and overall health goals.

  • At Vitality Cove, we don’t just teach health — we live it.

We sweat the grind in the gym, embrace mindfulness, and commit ourselves to continual growth through education and advanced certification.

We are mothers, wives, and friends — women who understand what it means to balance family, career, and self-care. We show up every day not only for our patients, but for our own well-being, so we can guide with authenticity and compassion.

When we say we believe in strength, longevity, and vitality — it’s because we walk that path ourselves. We don’t offer quick fixes; we model sustainable, life-changing habits. Our patients see in us the proof that health is not just possible — it’s powerful.

"What you want to ignite in others must first burn inside yourself." – Charlotte Bronte

Vitality Cove isn’t just a clinic. It’s a lifestyle. And we’re honored to lead from the front.

  • We use local pharmacies or your pharmacy of choice for non-compounded medications such as bioidentical progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone. Compounded products are sourced exclusively from U.S. licensed compounding pharmacies, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. This approach allows us to provide personalized hormone therapy with reliable and accessible medication options.

  • Vitality Cove is more than just a destination for medical care—it's a lifestyle. While anyone can benefit from our expert guidance, our patients are typically individuals who already understand the importance of regular exercise and mindful eating. There is no magic pill to replace the commitment required to improve your health. You are here because you seek more comprehensive answers and personalized care beyond what a typical yearly physical can provide. Our approach is designed to support your ongoing journey toward optimal wellness and vitality.

  • We love that you trust us so much! But no — we’re not a replacement for your primary care provider (PCP). We absolutely love PCPs and everything they do, and you still need one for all the important routine things like annual physicals, Pap smears, rectal exams, and all the glamorous parts of healthcare that keep you alive and healthy.

Think of us as an adjunct to your healthcare — your optimization team. We focus on hormones, wellness, longevity, and helping you feel your absolute best, while your PCP focuses on routine screenings, preventive care, and keeping all the bases covered.

  • Hormone Optimization:

All patients starting hormone optimization require blood work. While we don’t treat numbers, labs are essential for safety, proper monitoring, and personalized care.

Peptide Therapy (including growth hormone–releasing peptides):

Blood work is not required for peptide services.

    Weight Loss Therapy:

    • Naltrexone: Blood work is required, including liver and kidney function testing.

    • GLP-1 medications: Blood work is not required; however, we highly recommend it. Labs often reveal thyroid issues, nutritional deficiencies, or hormone imbalances that may be holding back your weight-loss results.

Our goal is always safety, optimization, and long-term success.

  • No. Medications are not included in the consultation fee and are billed separately. You can use your health insurance for "insurance approved hormone therapy". If hormones are compounded, you will be billed separately. You will be proved with a receipt from the pharmacy for full transparency.
