Danielle Blackwell, MSN, WHNP-BC

Lead Nurse Practitioner and Hormone Health Specialist

Danielle's career in healthcare began in 2011 as a Registered Nurse, gaining diverse experience in Medical Surgical, Mother Baby, and specialized training in Midwifery education. She achieved her Master's of Science in Nursing from the prestigious Frontier Nursing University, specializing in Women's Health. Danielle initially started serving women in the Huntsville area as a provider in a local OBGYN clinic.

Danielle's personal journey—from serving as a West Point Cadet to becoming a Military Spouse and the proud mother of three incredible daughters—has instilled in her a deep sense of service and a profound understanding of the unique challenges women face. Having lived in many unique locations and experienced healthcare at its best and its worst, Danielle became disenchanted with the limitations and inflexibility of traditional medicine. This feeling was amplified by her own frustrating struggles with lactose intolerance, debilitating IBS, perimenopause symptoms, migraines, and Hashimoto's hypothyroidism– often hearing the dismissive phrase, "your labs are in the normal range" despite feeling sluggish and knowing something was missing.

This personal struggle, solidified by caring for thousands of postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause patients who were suffering through conventional treatments, led Danielle to innately seek a better way: functional medicine. For the past two years, she has worked alongside a world-renowned hormone, thyroid, and longevity specialist, delivering high-level health optimization to men and women across all 50 states. Danielle's expertise is further recognized by her active memberships in the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and the American Academy of Anti-aging (A4M). She is now focusing her efforts here in Hampton Cove and the surrounding Huntsville area, dedicated to providing true care, not just sick care, by addressing the root causes of imbalance.

Danielle believes that strong relationships, enriched lifestyles, routine workouts, wholesome sleep, stress relief, the beautiful outdoors, love, and ultimately… purpose… all point to long, healthy, and happy lives. She is also a Certified Group Fitness Instructor who has most recently instructed rowing and HIIT classes in a boutique fitness studio in the Chicago area. Embracing this philosophy, she advocates for a functional and holistic approach that empowers men & women to achieve vibrant health and well-being. Danielle treasures family time, exercise, live music, the outdoors, and delicious fueling food. Residing locally with her family, Danielle is dedicated to helping you feel your best, inside and out.
